Soumen is a Director with AV&Co. and focuses on wireless and converged products and services. Prior to AV&Co., Soumen was a Partner at Mercator Partners – a strategy boutique firm focused on telecom. Soumen holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delhi, India.

With 10 years consulting experience in the wireless and technology industry, Soumen is an expert in product portfolio strategy and optimization, new product strategy, customer segmentation, business case development and marketing strategy. He has led numerous engagements for multiple global mobile and broadband operators, equipment manufacturers, and investors. He is experienced in strategy work related to wireless towers, converged communication products, mobile handsets, public safety, business telecom services (enterprise and SMB), customer segmentation, product portfolio rationalization, emerging products innovation, push-to-talk and mobile payments.
